Setting up your own DNS server
Our name servers will be configured as the following:
Domains can be purchased from domain registrars or resellers. Domain registrars and resellers usually have domain management tools or admin panels that are unique to their companies. These domain management tools and admin panel user interfaces can vary between websites.
The instructions here describe how to change settings in the www.alanadisaticisi.com panel.
On the local computer:
The server can be set by entering aaa.com in the primary DNS suffix field in the Computer Name tab, followed by clicking on OK and restarting.
In the NIC’s (Network Interface Card) DNS tab enter aaa.com in the DNS suffix for this connection field.
Setup the DNS service.
On the registrar’s website:
Open the customer panel, in the NS (Name Server) records enter the following:
ns1.aaa.com = x.y.z.w
ns2.aaa.com = the IP address of the second DNS server
These entries need to be present in the server’s A records.
Enter the records (A, PTR, MX, etc.) after creating the bbb.com field on the DNS server.
