By using SSH and FTP, WinSCP can upload and download files.
To send files as a root user:
1. Change the relevant line to PermitRootLogin Yes in the /etc/ssh/sshd_config path, by deleting the # sign.
2. Restart the service by entering service restart sshd.
Save as shown:
Click on the login tab. When prompted to save the certificate, click on yes, this then starts the session.
The left pane displays the local computer and the right, the connected server: /home/ftpuser
